One on Azshara, but have not used it beyond creation
Professions:
Herbalism Mining
Main Spec: Killer Instinct, Born to be Wild, Stomp, Aspect of the Beast Secondary Spec: One with the Pack, Natural Mending, Thrill of the Hunt Tertiary Spec:
End-Game Experience:
I am a collector by nature. Love collecting gear, mounts and achievements, etc. Want to get more out of the social side of the game, raids, dungeons, events. Have predominantly played on my own so far. Most interaction has been joining up to help newer players with things they are struggling with. I enjoy helping them and offer whenever I see a need.
Mods and Hardware Requirements:
Discord, headphones and a mic? yes
Deadly Boss Mods / BigWigs? yes
Arena/PVP (for those who pvp):
How often do you pvp? Not really started properly. Just had a look into a few things. Get spanked all the time, so more learning is needed. lol What's your arena ranking?
What is your current or last guild (and on which server if transferring)? Fairy Tail (Azshara)
What are the circumstances of your leaving (please be thorough)? They few I have engaged with seemed very nice. Their play time is usually when I am sleeping in the wee hours of the morning. Never more than 2-3 players online when I am. Makes it near impossible to engage in any real way or do things together in the game.
Which other guilds have you played with (please be thorough)? Dysfunctional (Azshara) It was disbanded. Was a good group who I learnt a lot from in Discord helping me get ready for Mythic Keys and showing me the ropes. RL took over from the group and some went to Fairy Tail, but are no longer active there either.
What are your "turn-offs" as far as guilds are concerned? I don't do conflict. Never felt the need for it as it seems a waste of emotional energy. I much prefer a positive spin to things and to make the most of situations. Drama is a turn-off, and when the group are much younger, there seems to be more of it. A lack of willingness to work as a group to help each other manifesting as selfish or hurtful behaviour. Particularly for new players who don't get everything straight away. Patience is needed to help them in such a complex world as WoW to find their way around and their own place in the game.
There are many guilds on the server... what brought you to War Machine?
I have been looking for a long time, but without success for anything that fits my timing (thought I am on most of the time when awake lol) I am highly immuno-suppressed, so nearly all my time is within my four walls. This game is a lifesaver to keep me occupied. I have been looking for a real community based guild who have fun, support and guide each other to a better game experience. Your guild's page ticked all my boxes and you are more in my timezone. Both big pluses for me.
What do you feel you provide that makes you a good member?
I have been honing my skills to this point, and feel quite confident with my toon. I am a fast learner with things I don't yet know. Willing and keen to learn from others and to pay it forward to other newer players. Unless specifically raiding with a group, I am very flexible with what I am doing. Nothing is urgent, so I can always take time out to fly over to wherever to give someone a hand. I am very community minded and it is fun for me to do so. I am never negative, but can empathise if someone is disappointed or having a tough go at something. I am a master Googler for finding answers to things I can't figure out on my own.
