How often do you pvp? Hardly Ever
What's your arena ranking? Nil
What's your pvp gear like? Non-existant
What is your current (or last) guild? Fairy Tales
What are the circumstances of your leaving? I joined because I ran a dungeon with a few guys - I have never particularly engaged with the guild.
Which other guilds have you played with on the server (please be thorough) =)? Nil
What are your "turn-offs" as far as guilds are concerned? Arrogance and the drama that often accompanies it.
There are many guilds on the server... what brought you to War Machine?
I haven't played on this server very much, and even then it was quite a long time ago. My loyalty is horde on Barthilas; my main is Tithrama and that is where I have preferred to play, and that is where I have raided previously - also a Shaman. Real life has been a lot of ups and downs recently - I have returned to playing as a relaxing, distracting pastime and have been playing Tith over the last few months. Unfortunately, Barth is not the friendliest of servers, and while I joined a guild with old mates, it has been pretty dead in the water due to inactivity. Having been away from the game for so long - I am also struggling with so many changes to keep track of and the loss of community to assist. I have a friend (Rulthariuz) who is a member who has spoken often of the good sense of community and friendliness of the guild.
What do you feel you provide that makes you a good member?
I have had a few bad experiences with wow in recent years - I tend to now keep my head down and keep quiet while contributing to guild balances and assisting others where I can. But when I am more comfortable, I am very happy to engage with guild chat. I feel very naive and uncertain by all the class changes (like I am relearning everything) but I used to be more than willing to assist anyone upskill and get better at being a Shaman (previously lead Shaman and 2iC heals for BC raiding). I am hoping that someone will be able to help me similarly upskill and re-learn what it means to be a Shaman beyond what can be read in a strategy guide, and then I can pay-it-forward.
