Just worried that all our last applicants have been legion with no content, and that it is setting a precedent for new applicants.
I don't really care about the legion apps, they were always going to be aloud in.
But our last 10 apps have no content and if peeps see this it will reflect future apps, especially when they all say invited next to them.
Just a worry wart..

Nope, it's a fair point. And the actual message was that they needed to fill out the application as normal but I think the message got missed along the way. Might pay to move those threads somewhere else.

A note on Applications.
Its almost pointless to ask just Current Spec.
Maybe ask Current Spec and Off Spec and reason for Talent choices.

Or in Tree's case, "please provide spec schedule". ;D

A note on Applications. Its almost pointless to ask just Current Spec. Maybe ask Current Spec and Off Spec and reason for Talent choices. The form asks for primary and secondary specs already. It used to autofill them too based on an armory lookup of your character, but that's slightly broken at the moment thanks to armory changes. It's on my to-do list. I hesitate to ask about reasoning behind talent choices as that kind of paints us as dictating how someone should play their character, which isn't what we're about.

I think it's more about 'what you chose to play and why' as an idea about the character of a person. e.g. Us 'Why do you like playing a hunter?' Them 'Cause I like to pawns me some newbz' Us 'K...'

yeh it more shows how they play their toon and why, peeps use this talent system in a vastly different way to the old system.
This system could be set up for a utility they can bring to the raid, like healing stream totem, or a challenge mode reason, or it could just be totally set up for Pvp as there are a lot of PVP utilities in the new talent system.
Or just straight up PVE dps.
And it also might allow us to find something that we didn't even think about ourselves, in how a certain talent can be used.
They were just my thoughts.

Yeah, I get the theory behind it, but it's a bit too much to be asking in an initial application. That kind of thing could possibly be covered in the interview, or after the fact.
Personally, the spec and talent choices of a player, hell, even the class, are very minor considerations when looking at an application. I care more about the player than the character.
Oh, and I fixed the automatic field completion on the application form too.

So instead of "current spec" should you ask for "preferred spec(s)"?
So for Eie it would be Tank, Dak it would be Bestiality/Survival and Tree it would be depends on how the wind is blowing.
