Thought I might start this thread again seeing as the old one was a a few years old.... Here are some screen shots of what my UI is now after spending a few hours work manually setting it up and getting it how I like it. No Addon Packs or UI Mod Compilations were used. All Addons were installed individually and configured. What a pain in the arse it was but worth it Clean Dirty Party Raid Just ignore the total amount of Gold in the Dirty screen shot Comments appreciated

Click the thumbnail to see the image, then click the page you go to once more for full sized. Here's my old ui, it's called 'ilive' This is what I was using last year: This is what I use now: It's all mouseover, so everything is hidden unless I need it. My raid frames are right near the center of the screen so I can see when I'm standing in the fire. Here's a shot with all the elements visible....

Rather than drop a big picture of my UI, I thought I'd share my UI philosophy, and explain my reasons behind it.
I look for a small footprint. Most of us are geographically distant from the WoW servers, so we tolerate lag that players in the US would never hear about. For that reason, I look for add-ons that use the LDB (Library Data Broker) environment. I also use the Curse Client to manage my add-ons. I even pay for the "pro" version, and it is worth every cent! At patch time, it is a life-saver. It's also exc ellent for purging your unused WTFs and LUAs.
There are some add-ons that are compulsory, and may come with their own library. DBM, for example. But you can cut your memory footprint by using those "nice to have" add-ons that are pure LDB.
Use Chocolate Bar instead of FuBar. Some Fu- modules will still work, but look for the prefix "LDB" or "Broker" and use those in preference to Fu-. For example, broker_durability, broker_currency, there are heaps of them. Simply put, ChocolateBar displays any and all Broker add-ons.
DPS/HPS meters: Skada is way smaller than Recount, and you can turn off the reports that you don't need.
Use AzCastBar instead of Quartz, it's way smaller and is a LDB app.
One concession I have is GTFO. By "concession" I mean that DBM does the same thing, but GTFO is faster and better at telling you that you are standing in the fire. It is very tiny, and doesn't affect your memory foortprint.
Threat: I use Skada as my only threat meter, and I also find that the standard UI works well for me.
Raid Frames have been around for a while, but the standard version suits me fine. For healers, though, especially Click to Heal healers, finding a small footprint Raid Frame add-on is difficult. Healbot is huge, and so is Grid. Grid2, on the other hand, is tiny, but is not supported as well as Grid. Using Grid2+Clique is the smallest footprint you'll get. Vuhdo isn't too bad, certainly much smaller than Healbot. Vuhdo and Healbot have click-to-heal built in.
Action Bars: I try to stick with the standard action bars if I can. My Priest uses the standard Blizzard bars, but my Hunter requires a bit more. I also use lots of Macros, so I chose Macaroon. The beauty of Macaroon is that they work well with the standard action bars, and extend Macro usage well beyond the standard limitations. I have one action bar that is reserved for all my macros, the rest are the standard bars.

I use Healbot as do many people in WM. I did give Vuhdo a go in WotLK and might start using it again soon. I remember it taking me about 30 minutes to setup how I like it (assuming you even know how you like it!) Anyway, I'll give some general advice: Set up click-to-heal:The main thing is to setup the Spells > Mouse section so you can heal by using different clicks. This means you can heal using just one input device, freeing up the keyboard for other things like moving. If you choose to keep some spells mouse-over keybound, make casts keyboard and set your instant casts to clicks so you can move out of fire while still healing (<3 druid heals). You said you have a WoW mouse though, so you might have enough buttons for all spells. Don't forget to bind dispel, thorns and rebirth. Set up debuff display:Make sure Vuhdo is set up to show when debuffs come on a player. This will save you having to use decursive and save you having to move your mouse far away from Vuhdo. If you have these two things going, you're ready to hit the heroics and get used to using it. Useful tutorials.www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qfbSMXbM80www.youtube.com/watch?v=hobwCq4sgTAP.S. Let us know if you work out any Vuhdo tricks. I'm considering it. Private tanks feature looks handy, as does some of the AoE advice and out of range arrows.

Five hours of work and much frustration later, the beta of Lightwell's new interface is somewhat ready. Much fine tuning to come, but the changes will likely be internal, so it will more or less still look like this at the end. Attachments:
