Minding our aspiration to have a cool website of our own, I decided to make a list of the really neat-o keen wow-related websites and designs I come across. Please post your own favorites to show us, so we'll have a number of ideas to steal from ;-).

Awesome guildsite, top marks... great consistency of design. Awesome, awesome, awesome! (/siteenvy) www.hazard-guild.net/cool colors and background graphic www.therevelationguild.com/news.phpvery high quality pics! snazzy style... (love those wide-screen/letterboxed style shots too) www.provokedprophets.com/great front page nrguild.org/awesome splash page...interesting idea (great code of conduct, like our own) www.shadowspawnguild.com/A facebook-type site for wow! www.rupture.com/A SPECIAL shout goes out to this guild, thesleepercartel they are legends in the area of guild events... if you check out this site, watch an event video or two and salivate. Players come from *other servers* and roll alts just to participate... lengendary, truly. www.spaceman.ca/sc/like the 'sheen' on this one...the column headers make it look almost reflective great graphics, nice effect ht.cwolf2.net/A few things became clear to me in this process... I like slick, glossy, almost magazine looking layouts and styles but a site shouldn't look too busy or cluttered. I like darker and warmer colors and a little variety. And Blizzard does moving graphics and text well while most do it badly.

I love the Provoked Prophets website. If I knew more about webdesign, I'd start working on a site in a second. If there is someone out there who knows more about the HTML/Backend of it all, perhaps we could get a webteam together, start working on it? I'm confident that Myself and Nithaltak can come up with anything we'd need, graphics wise. It's the rest I'm fairly hopeless with.

Thank you for your kind words about our site. (Also note its being revamped right now .. needs some more work) The reason I'm posting as well, is to extend an invitation to your guild for hosting services. We host a number of guild already, about 12 guilds websites and 15 teamspeak servers. If your looking for a place to park your website drop me a line or reply here.

Ok this is running on my home PC so it will not be there too long: 138.130.195.102/I haven't been working on a website, this is just a joomla site. My old guild used to use it: www.tscguild.comThe thing is, Joomla is a content management system - meaning admin type users can edit and/or publish information fairly simply. I set this up in a couple of hours just using normal templates and stuff. To edit the site I set up, check out: 138.130.195.102/administratoruserid: admin password: holiday This will go from my computer very soon so check it out....

Quite a few of the websites are doable. The graphics are a no, but the layouts are fine by me.

This is also still a long term goal i'd like to see realized. Anyone with any skill in this area?
