We use 'Suicide Kings Geo' to keep track of who gets loot and who's next in line.
We've had problems in the past with *too many* in the guild having this mod and the problems from that. If we have more than a few (lets say 2-3 max) using the list, we can logically expect to see multiple versions of the same list. And as there's no inherent date/time attached to the list, there's no quick way to determine who has the latest. Things are bound to get overwritten or lost.
I'd rather make an error on the side of caution than have too many versions of whats supposed to be a basically static list out there.
My proposed solution is as follows... only the Officers have SKG up and running. This keeps us from having lost names or un-updated/over-written lists, but it may cause a couple hiccups.
a) The fewer Officers we have the higher probability that one won't be on to log changes to the list or tell people whos in what position.
This shouldn't be a problem for 25 mans, as an Officer would be present in all normal circumstances. In 10 mans this *may* happen from time to time. Since most of us have what we need from the 10 mans, there's rarely any competition, but in the case there is... the group needs to find a judicious way to decide who gets the loot. You're all mature, I can't see that being much of a problem.
b) Once someone gets loot we need to know who got what (exactly) and what exact order so we may update the list when we come online.
This method, while a tad unwieldy in 10 man situations without an Officer, would safeguard from the 'disappearing guildie' issue, and other random list problems.
I'd open up the rest of the thread for your comments and list updates (in the case that an Officer isn't online).
