Officers stopped the men on a rural road near the city of Hastings about 1am this morning and discovered the sheep hogtied inside the hatchback, One News reports. Constable Darren Cooper said it was lucky none of the animals had died. He said police were "appalled" by the scene they found. The men were charged with theft and ill treatment of the animals, while the sheep were returned to their owners. Roadtrip wih Bannox, Dakhan, Boomtee & Nok?
