This is my new computer. It's totally safe, and you should all run your computers like this. Trust me. I'm an IT Professional.

Yeah look at the air flow over everything that is great. something not working you can give each component a small tap instead of smashing the case. Theres no need to try and fit all those cables in a space that just wont fit a 1/4 of them. and theres no H&S problems its all extra low voltage.
Are you building a wee portable PC that youcan take a part and fit in a suitecase.

In truth, that's my old PC. It was killing power supplies (two in two months), so in an effort to figure out why I pulled it all out of the case, as I suspected it was shorting out somewhere or something.
Back when I was at uni I used a PC with no case, so that I could take it apart, pack it into anti-static bags and put it in my suitcase with my clothes whenever I came back up home. Somewhere I have a picture of that too, but I think it's an actual physical photograph, from back in the days before I had a digital camera.

Eh... At least its not like my last PC where I had to keep the case open so I could set up a desk fan to keep it cool... Lol

The monitor--- it's so narrow. Were they really that narrow? Yeah, it's a 17" monitor too, which I remember being HUUGE when going from an old CRT previous. It might look narrower than usual too because the resolution is quite low in that picture - I'd just installed that video card and it hadn't loaded the right drivers for it.

So is an olde pic or? As you don't seem to have sorted out the screen resolution.

I took the photo just after I fired the computer up for the first time, and that computer didn't have that video card in it originally.
