Next week! Must come back next week!
I need to get into the new zone and build a shipyard. It'll be hard to raid if I'm stuck in another continent.

We tested it with my alt. We can summon you to the raid without you having done anything post-patch so don't stress as long as you make it on the night Eie

I am off to Adelaide to attend an unexpected funeral. Will be back next Tuesday night (22nd Sept) so I will miss this weeks raids (including tonight's progression run). If you drop Archie without me, I shall hunt you all down and tickle you.

Got back last night (Tuesday 22nd), logged in and read the Guild Message that you had maxed Archie while I was away. I am torn between elation and rage.

My apologies for my sudden departure last night. I have had a helluva time with Foxtel/Telstra about my internet connection since I signed up. Once again, the download speed has plummeted to less than 1Mbps, for no apparent reason. Last time this happened (early June) they had me doing speed tests and traceroutes for a week when all of a sudden it came good. No explanation, I should just be thankful that it's working. It's been lousy since I got back from Adelaide, and I rang them and reported it. Took an hour, but they escalated it as long as I do these stupid tests three times a day. I'll do a speed test before tonight's raid, and if it's still lousy, I'll opt out, but I really want to get back into it and clear HFC (including Archie).

Just returned from my Navy Reunion in Adelaide, tested internet, it's still stuffed. Foxtel contacted me while I was away and trhey have waived all early release fees, so I am churning back to Internode (pro9bably) forst thing tomorrow. When my Internet is re-established, I'll get back into it. Foxtel Broadband falsely advertised that they use "Telstra" broadband. I pointed out to them that this is false, and that their Library and streaming service cannot be used due to their poor quality broadband. They were a bit "reluctant" to let me back out, at first, but when I informed them that I shall be taking my arguments to the telecommunications ombudsman, they couldn't get rid of me fast enough. Beware the Foxtel broadband bundling. I am not the only one bitten. The Foxtel forums are absolutely choccers with identical complaints.

I can't male Monday night's progression run. The Mrs booked us in at the club for tea with my Sister and her bloke. Too much cold beer to risk getting back in time for the raid. In addition, I still have crappy interwebs.

We have visitors from the USA (our old neighbors from when we lived in Issaquah, Wa, in the 80s) so it would not be prudent for me to claim "Hey, it's RAID NIGHT, folks, sorry." They head back to the States tomorrow (Thurs 22nd), so I should be OK then.

Some points I'd like to make: - This weekend is the Canberra Rod and Kustom Krooze.
- I am the MC.
- I am also a life member of the Canberra Hot Rod Association.
- Therefore, I am required from Thursday to Tuesday (inclusive) no matter how much I hold my breath and stamp my feet.
- I will be back next Wednesday the 27th for the Prog run (if you still want me).
- There is no 5th thing.
In my absence, please consider that I may be drinking a lot of beer and cruising around in a number of Hot Rods. This is my sacrifice, for I shall miss out on some WoW time.
PS I am being facetious. VRRRM! VRRRM!

I will be flying out on the 17th of September and flying back in on the 3rd of October.
Sucks that Blizzard choose to open raids during this time, so I wont be able to wipe on trash with you guys until the 3rd weeks of raids.....at which point I expect to be carried.
I do play on a laptop, so I am still debating if I should lug my laptop along for the holiday, but internet may be spotty.
GOOD LUCK PEEPS.

I have been a bit pre-occupied of late, and this is going to continue for a few more weeks. I have been building my Wife's car for a few years now, and it's now almost finished. Anyone who is interested in my cars can check them out on my web site. Anyway, the 56 Ford Crown Victoria went on to the Dyno last week, hopefully to do a final tune on the engine management system, but mostly to thrash it and see if anything breaks. Well, another core plug blew out of the engine, which was devastating because it meant the engine had to come out. I paid a LOT of money to have this engine built, and you can't imagine the fury that I felt when I saw how they skimped on the simplest thing - cleaning the bores for the core plugs. Anyway, long story short, I called in a few favours and had a few friends come and help, and now it's all back together and running again. So it's back to the Dyno ASAP, and if it passes the test, then I have to take it to the engineer in Nowra. His job is to inspect and certify all the modifications, certify ownership and issue an engineer's report for a modified vehicle and I can finally get it registered in time for the CRAKK run. Unless you are an obsessed car fanatic like me (and have been since I was a teenager) you probably wouldn't understand the intensity of this stage of a project. Nonetheless, it's the reason my presence has been sporadic at best, and I have been too weary to look at a night of raiding lately. Ten years ago, it would have been easy, but I have to face the fact that I'm 62 years old now and I just don't have the stam. Once I have the blue slip and the Mrs finally gets to drive her car, I'll come back. Then it's time to focus on my final project, my car, a 49 Hudson Coupe with Jag suspension and a Gen 3 Hemi. But I'll leave that story for another day. In the meantime, I'll jump on occasionally to do some WQ for the Priest and the DH, and maybe the odd raid in between panic attacks.

Hi peoples,
I am flying out for business for the next few days and as such will not be able to make tonight's progression raid (12/12/16) or Wednesdays regular run (14/12/16). Thursday is a 50/50 at this point (15/12/16). Thanks Zesh and Jay for picking up these runs this week, much appreciated.
