Hey,
Not sure if i will ever be on again, maybe but not for now!
I have decided to try some other interests and work at making my marriage great rather than just "yes honey", i am already getting severe withdrawal symptoms and my life is based around logging on and doing stuff on the computer. I already work with computers, so i am attempting to spend more time with the wife, and following a few other things i used to be good at at school. I f they bore me senseless i will move on and try something else.
Anyway, WM is by far the best social guild i was ever in, and i will miss all the personalities.

I never thought I would see the day, but I completely understand. Take care my friend. Just cause you're doing other doesn't mean you can't pop on to mumble once in a while and say hi . I'll raise a glass to all the fun times we had. -bannox

I avoided WoW for about the first 3 years it was available after a severe MUD addiction back in the "text-only" age but Zuzu finally dragged me in at a time I was at my weakest. Tina submitted shortly after.
One thing we've learnt is that there is a definite need for balance between real life and online interests especially when you have a partner and family. I have a belief that real life should take priority in most case (unless you're in the relationship equivalent of wearing a gimp mask in a box in the basement) so I absolutely appreciate your decision.
Best of luck Tree, I'm sure you'll be back. Love to the wife and family.

/sad face All the best Tree, sounds like great decision making to me. I completely understand mate. Before WoD dropped, I did make the decision to not put WoW over real life stuff, which is quite a step up from the total addiction that it once was. You will be missed a great deal around here. For me, most of you have become more than pixels on my screen, you are another friend I made through a game that I play. So don't forget to drop by on Mumble to say hi once in a while. By the way, about those auction house parts..... Take care bud and selfishly, hope to see you back soon. Boom

Satan loses snowball fight in hell. Miss Piggy gets her pilots licence. Mario Balotelli scores not one, but two winning goals for Liverpool. Tree quits WoW.Gonna miss you mate, but one of the main tenets of War Machine has always been Real life over gaming. There will always be a home for you here, but you already knew that. Loved playing with you, and gnashing my teeth at every earned achievement. Thanks for making it (slightly) harder to hate all Man Utd fans! YNWA Leo

I did this once for the same reasons, and I'm glad I did. I came back, because I missed it, and I'm glad I did. Like the others have said, it's a balancing act, and you gotta do what you gotta do. See you around, matey.

Enjoy your time with the Mrs mate. The 12 month break I took from WoW sure made Alison (my wife) less annoying..err I mean happier, and I've enjoyed coming back with a more balanced lifestyle. Hope to see you again some time.

There's very few people that have consistently been in War Machine for over 5 years. Most have gone their separate ways, whether that's been to other games, other guilds, or real life. As a casual guild, it's something that comes with the territory.
In January 2010, a few months after I joined War Machine, a druid named Treeline did. Far from new to the game itself, it didn't take him long to become a guild fixture, famous for his British accent on Ventrilo, his gameplay advice from PVP to raids and everything in between, and droll sense of humour. Tree remained a constant in War Machine from then forward. He's been with us for first kills and clears from the days of ICC through to Highmaul, camped off to the side in cat form in kill screenshots. He's been there during frustrating content lulls and mad dashes to the level caps at expansion release. He's been there always one step ahead of me with achievement points. And he did it all in such a way that we were always pleased to have him with us.
It's going to be strange to be without you in War Machine, Tree. Best of luck with finding that balance. Don't be a stranger.

Guys,
beautiful words one and all, saturday was the hardest day so far, wife goes to work, Tree makes cupa tea and settles into a guilt free day of gaming, only this saturday i fought it and it was tough.
Going to miss 1st kills, although only a few are satisfactory these days, to me a 1st kill was a few weeks of edging closer, refining what we have done over previous weeks to just edge of the line, with a moment of relief and extasy.
To CMs where every kill was on this level, the dedication CMs gave, give me a lot of joy.
To the crazy characters who take certain aspects to far and actually make you the best on a certain aspect, particular shouts go out to Soph and Leo.
To the even headiness of the GL and RL' hats off to you guys and gals. Thaks dak for eleoquontly written epitaph.
To all the gamers who make the game easy, and all those who love it a social level. Thank you.
To those who unselfishly give there time to make the Guild a better place to be, i would name you all, but i would only forget a few..
Will pop onto mumble and the forums from time to time, and hope to see you all again. xxxx
