Hey Guys;
Due to time constraints and RL commitments I am unable to make the 10-Man Thursday night run, and I have noticed chatter that other are not able to make it and and are starting to get a little bit jealous and upset that they are not involved in the raiding.
I am unavailable on Mon, Tues, Thurs Nights. I am unavailable Friday until about 11pm.
Having a Wednesday night second man team or a Alt run + those who can't raid Thursday night will get those involved like my self and others that are being left out. Plus it allows the core raiders on Thursday night to run their alts through Wednesday night and help the others.
I am happy to help lead and run this Team even though I am a bit inexperienced running ICC
So any comments, help or suggestions appreciated.

I think a second team is a great idea. Of course you need the numbers to do it. But it seems a lot of people have pretty well geared alts for this.
One thing I would suggest is maybe an earlier time slot? I can make the current times but finishing up a little earlier would be more ideal for me
Just my two cents

me too love the idea of an alt run, just deciding the time will be a factor...
may be good for everyone to list best days/times for this

I'm avaible Monday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday on (Dyna) Mage 5.4gs and Bannox (Pally) (although as Bannox I need some serious work on gears 4.8gs is the best set ATM on Prot. Asuming of course the connection issues which plauge me all day yesterday are resolved. I heard it was a problem from Blizzards end for a few accounts but it did keep me from having the reliability to run the continuation ICC10man last night - apologies for that. I'm leaving out Sat there for the 25man. In terms of start times being in NZ means that the 8:30pm normal Oz start time is about the latests I would want to start (10:30pm where I am which means we finish around 1:30am) any time earlier would be great too.

I have added a poll to the thread to gage when people are available for the second team + alt run. I have left out Thursday as that is all ready a raiding night. You can vote on one or all of the options if you wish. The more people vote the more we can arrange a time that suits people.
Please vote, comment, make suggestions. We can not do this with out your support.

Hey guys,
I've been in a position previously where I've been regularly left out of raids for one reason or another so I understand the frustration. This was one of the reasons I transferred to an Oceanic server as all but the occassional alt raid was run during the week while I was at work when all the US players were awake.
Please keep in mind that 15+ people don't fit into 10 slots so it's not that the raid leaders are leaving people out on purpose, sometimes it's just a case of the raid leaders are only available on some nights and unfortunately people interested in raids are not available at the same time. It can be frustrating but if you're up for a raid then sign up, be prepared, know the fights, be online and do the right things in raids you're invited to and you should get invited again (spots allowing).
I have 2 toons on the server, who are both capable, however at the moment Eiellith is a tank for the Thursday group so I'm happy to bring Nugit to an alt 10 man raid if required. If tanks for that group become an issue then we can "discuss" options.
Thraul, I'm happy to raid lead or assist if I come along to one of these raids.
Eiellith/Nugit/Jay

Looking good guys. Looks like Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon are preferred. Those with low gear scores or have just hit 80 and are gearing alts as the second team we can start farming (ToC, Ulduar, Nax et) to get the gear for you and see how well we fit together as a team ..
Ideally I would like team like this
Main/Off
Tank/DPS - Murdo (sinzar) Tank/DPS - cjdarksoul feral druid Healer/Tank - ? Healer/DPS - Nyselia Alts DPS/Healer - vodoo alts DPS/Malee - Nugit DPS/Malee - Thraul DPS/Malee - ? Malee/DPS - ? Malee/DPS - ?
Thoughts?
Please remind people in the guild to visit the forums and use the forums.

Hey guys, I'm available for an alt run if you need numbers and want me along. I have a mage 5.1 gs, but I see with Nugit & Thraul already mages it would be a little over kill I also have a 4.6k ele shaman main spec. Have not got a second spec on it, but if I had the time to work on gear it could have healing off spec. I have an 80 lock & rogue also but I'm not the best at them so they collect dust at the moment I am available any nights (but if I haven't signed up prior to something planned I may not be online some nights), though don't like to go over 11.30pm too often due to early morning starts for work. At the moment I have been apart of the Thursday, continue to Sunday night raids, and have also been attending the Saturday 25mans so obviously can't alt raid on those nights. Saturday & Sunday afternoons aren't always a given day as RL stuff is done during then so I could do now and then come if needed but not lock myself in every single time. For any runs needed through uld, nax for gear I am happy/pref to come on my priest who doesn't need gear in there, but I'd just like to come to experience the raids.

Hey mate; If you can slot into DPS/Healer on your ele shaman that would be cool while you work on your Healing than having you as a backup healer will be awesome. Or if you priest is not Raiding then as a Healer/DPS will be great as well, thats if your priest is Holy If we decide to go with Sat/Sun Afternoon I was thinking more or less start about 3-4pm go through till about 5-6pm have a break then come back ready for the 25man/10man continued. We are open to any suggestions and comments as this is helping make a decision on when/what to look at. This second man team needs to be used as a tool for those that have just hit 80, new to the game, just started raiding, looking to work on their gear, progress in a fun friendly team. Any or all of the above

A few other ppl replied to this thread but didn't say what toons they have available, any tanks out there? ?? Nyselia is currently in the Thursday night 10man, so I would have my healer/dps priest or my healer/dps shammy available, both geared.

I have a tank (Murdo). He is pretty under geared with 4500 GS
But I can do some work on him, shouldnt take long to get to a level where I can tank the first few fights.

This is looking really great guys. I have modified my list above and slotted players into their roles let me know if this does not fit. What about some of the new additions to the guild that may want to start raiding. Will need to talk to them to see if they want to be apart of the second team and what roles they can provide.
Looks like Wednesday night will be the second night. Its probably a bit late to do something tonight but if there are enough online tonight maybe we could do a 10-ToC, 10-ToC (H) or even ulduar to help those undergeard with drops plus see how we go.
If not I will look at maybe next Wednesday night as a starting night. I would like to avoid ICC on the second team at the moment as some of the alt have said they are not geared yet and not ready so starting in the earlier raids will help and let us all get some experience raiding together and allows the players to get used to raiding on their alts if they are not ready yet.

I'm very keen for this! My only difficulty is that occasionally I work arvos/nights so I would have to skip the odd week here and there. Because of that, I haven't voted on a particular day...any day I'm not working is cool Apart from my rogue I have a resto drood (5.1kgs) and prot/ret pally, although I still need a bit of work on gear for this toon (about 4.7k each spec). It would be a nice way to get in and learn some fights.

Guys I need to get a list of toons and your positions who are able to make the second team, am going to start doing this on Wednesday Night and see what happens.
Need names so I can start sending invites, and also see what we are missing and see if the new members of the guild can come Wednesdays.
Thanks All.

I hope an invite goes out to one of my toons. I try to attend alt raiding nights whenever I can. I have a tank that can come too. about 5k gearscore, and has already tanked up to Saurfang. His Ret set is decent, about 4.8k now i think. Also have a warlock I would love to bring along, GS about 4.8k.

So... anyone interested in carrying on with the Alt run tonight? (Friday 17th) Or alternatively for those that face planted on almost every boss in the 10 man team last night (we all know who we are perhaps we could carry on and get rid of some of what should be easy fights before Sindy Sunday? - This is assuming ya'll have about as much of a life outside of wow/children as I do at the moment and have nothing better planned for your Friday night

Amen, enjoy. I'd be watching the league too if the Warriors had a little more hop in their step. Enjoy the poker, and always remember... the quickest way to loose money is to call with KJ

I'll be online but not keen on continuing the alt run for the main reason that I nearly live in ICC on a daily basis with how many guild runs we have set up and I would like to see the rest of Azeroth a little bit more before it's all changed.

Got the first four down (with only one wipe, and that was on the forth boss). With the group we had that was about as far as we could go given our DPS, Damage in the group, lack of some experience and GS (*looks at Alysee 4.3K*) But was good. But now I am saved I really need to get my pally to 80. He is only 35 at the moment.
